Hi, I'm Crystal.
I started as an investigative journalist—the kind who asks uncomfortable questions until the real story emerges. That's still what I do, just not about institutions anymore. Now I investigate why smart people keep making the same confusing choices in relationships, career pivots, and major life decisions.
Consider me your:
Pattern recognition specialist (journalist training + way too much time studying psychology, astrology, typology, and why people are Like That)
Strategic advisor for interpersonal complexity (when you need to understand someone's behavior, not just judge it)
Professional perspective-shifter (I show you angles you haven't considered, then leave you to decide)
My background: Journalism (investigative, cultural criticism) → Marketing/comms strategy → Depth psychology rabbit hole → Realized I was doing the same thing everywhere: asking the right questions until the actual problem becomes visible.
I use whatever tools reveal the pattern fastest: astrology for timing and temperament, Human Design for decision-making mechanics, Enneagram for core motivation, tarot for reframing stuck narratives, MBTI for communication translation. The tool doesn't matter as much as the insight does.

HOW I WORK
Format: 60-90 minute calls (Zoom or in-person in Brooklyn)
Before we talk:
You fill out an intake form (specific questions, context, what you've already tried)
I review everything and do any relevant chart pulls (astrology, Human Design, whatever's useful)
During the call:
I ask you questions that reveal what you're not seeing
I map patterns and translate dynamics
I offer frameworks for understanding the situation differently
You take notes (I don't send summaries—you're responsible for capturing what matters)
After the call:
You have recording access
You decide what to do with the insights
Optional follow-ups if you want continued support
I don't:
Give you homework
Check in on your progress
Hold you accountable
Offer ongoing "support"
I'm here for clarity, not hand-holding.
